Overview

When they talk about the Good Life, this large, family-friendly B&B is probably what they mean. Overlooking a pristine New Hampshire lake, this inn feels more like a welcoming family home than a hotel. Rooms are cozy, including two suites with enough beds to comfortably sleep families of any size. Each is individually decorated with antique furniture and are overflowing with perks-fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, heated towel racks, etc.
Breakfasts are epic, with multiple organic and vegetarian options; the innkeepers pride themselves on honoring special requests, no matter how outlandish. In addition, lunches and dinners utilizing the same organic ingredients are available upon request.
The inn overlooks Newfound Lake, one of the most beautiful lakes in the area; it’s a short drive to a swimming beach. In addition, the property has ample grounds for kids to explore. The inn has arts and craft supplies, and the owner gives lessons by prior arrangement. Most importantly, the innkeepers have mastered the art of being helpful and caring without being overbearing to guests. It’s the rare guest here that doesn’t leave much more relaxed than they came.

Wow! This was one of the nicest B&B I’ve seen or stayed at. Sheila and Bill make you feel right at home. Scenic lake and mountain views from all of the rooms. Only a few to choose from. Enjoy! A must see! Picture is from our room bed first thing in the morning. The breakfast was so personal and to die for. Woke up to the smell of bacon each morning. Heaven on earth!

First time staying at an Inn:
After booking the room for a couple days I got a call from Sheila asking me many questions as to my comfort and food/health requirements. After asking in amazement as to why all this data is needed the reply was “I want your stay here to be the best experience you ever had” Who does this?
Bill + Sheila greeted us and gave us the tour.
In the morning Bill is busy cooking an earthy crunchy health food breakfast that is amazingly delicious.
I would highly recommend the oatmeal bake. (Very good)
Staying at coppertoppe was just like staying at your brother or sisters house where they love and care for you. We woke in the morning went down stairs to a beautiful panoramic view of a pristine lake and forest. I was mesmerize and mellowed the whole time looking at the view.
I've missed out not staying in Inn's more often but I doubt they all pay attention to detail as much as this one......Enjoy. AL + Carol Hebert
