Overview

Located at the base of the Copper Chair ski lift, the Copper King is a Taos County mountainside hotel. Rooms range from efficiencies with one queen bed and a small kitchen to three-bedroom units with two queen bedrooms, a bedroom with two twins, a full kitchen, two bathrooms, dining table and fireplace. The lodge is the only ski-in ski0out resort in Red River ski area.

Mini Family Reunion

We chose this hotel because of the other great ratings. They absolutely did not disappoint. Extremely friendly staff, very clean and comfortable rooms. Easy location to Main Street but just far enough off to be quiet. Lots of parking area.

Room #23 & 24 are perfect. A total of 4 beds, kitchen, fireplace and nice sitting area. Bottom floor location.

We will definitely stay here again and recommend to all of our friends.

I haven’t been here in the winter but there is a chairlift right at the corner of the hotel.

The deer and ducks are quite entertaining.

We always enjoy this lodge! Rooms are clean, housekeeping is great, owners are very nice! This trip was great! The lodge is close to Main Street, has a grassy area, close to the river and we walked practically everywhere!
