My golf group recently stayed here (off season) after being moved from another Bluewater property. This was our first time here and it was typical of what I've come to expect to expect in OC. There were clean rooms and a great view. The layout of the rooms was a little different with the bed right by the door, but this was no big deal. What was surprising was how accommodating and friendly the staff was. We interacted with 6 different people during our stay, and every one of them was incredibly friendly and pleasant to speak with. They always asked in we needed anything, and gave us tickets to an event at the Aloft.

Stayed here during the endless summer cruisin weekend with my wife in the captains suite. The room was great! Had a huge balcony that was able to see the coastal highway as well as a great view of the beach all the way down to the inlet if you are on the 7th floor like we were. It’s the perfect combination of oceanfront and ocean view. Bed was very comfortable! Checked in about 1:30am, don’t remember the ladies name but she was very friendly! Indoor pool was good too! Seems like this place is very meticulous on upkeep and maintenance, they monitor humidity very close and have dehumidifiers in every room which is great! At the beach it’s a must to keep the musty smells out of the rooms like a lot of places have. Room was clean and smelled clean and fresh too! I will definitely stay here again next year
