Our stay was very pleasant. Check in was pleasant and efficient, even with a brand new clerk. Room was clean, if a bit worn in spots. Air conditioner was efficient(and loud, like every other hotel AC I have encountered) but my sister mentioned the air conditioning issues others suffered when she stayed. Breakfast had plenty of food and choices and pleasant attendants.

Just a couple issues. One was the room darkening curtains didn’t fully close. We were on the first floor rear, facing the back parking lot. Which is actually the second story in the back. No one could see in the room, but since we couldn’t fully close the curtains (the curtains closed about halfway- that is where the tract ended - the rest were shears. )Which let in the lights from the parking lot. Not a deal breaker but annoying. And second was something all hotels do but doesn’t make less annoying. There was a festival in Binghamton that weekend (which wasn’t what we were in town for) and I ended up paying $200 for the room after taxes and fees, even with a supposed AAA discount for one night. To stay in Binghamton commercial area. But that is how the system works.

The beds were good. The front desk staff is not courteous. Breakfast is of poor quality. Cleaning should be more carefully done. We found cans under our bed. We stayed for two nights. Our beds were not made, even though we asked to have the sheets changed. The bath mat was not changed, it was soaking wet. We were not given enought towels. The breakfast persons was always talking or doing something else while guest were waiting for food.
