Located near Dollywood, Dollywood’s Splash Country and Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, this all-suite hotel is also situated near Great Smoky Mountains National Park. If your family is looking for more water fun after a day at the water park, head back to the hotel and test out the two swimming pools. There is a seasonal outdoor pool and an indoor pool. So the kids can swim and splash no matter the weather. The spacious suites feature one king or two queen beds, a mini-fridge, microwave, flat screen television and DVD player and a sleeper sofa in a separate sitting area. Complimentary Wi-Fi access can be found in the suites so both adults and kids can stay connected to work, school or home. The free hot breakfast buffet with items like eggs, hot and cold cereal, waffles, fruit and more is a great way for families to start the day in Pigeon Forge.

The hotel itself isn't great at all. The pictures are deceptive. It's outdated, no one came to clean our rooms even though we removed the do not disturb sign and we had no more clean towels, the breakfast was disgusting, the hot tub by the pool wasn't hot, the queen beds are actually standard size, the balcony is so small you feel like you're going to fall off, you can't walk to anything because there's no sidewalk or crosswalk on the busy road, and the hotel never picks up the phone. The woman at the front desk was unapologetic even though she ruined our stay. They need to let go of her before she runs off other customers. I know I never want to use comfort suites again after this experience. We used my mom's points to book a hotel but my dad has cancer and he was sick so there's no way they can do a lot of traveling right now.
Some misinformed staff member at the front desk, called us the morning of our reservation to tell us we couldn't check in using my mother's reward points even though we had already confirmed it with choice hotels. She said it was against the law but she didn't know it's only illegal for individuals under 21 to check in on behalf of someone else. She told me I couldn't check in before we even had a chance to get to the hotel so she didn't know how old I was. My mom lost her points and we lost 350 when we were basically bullied into booking a room for myself and my fiance. We would have been left without a room so we didn't know what else to do or what other hotel still had a room available. If you've ever tried to book last minute in a place like Gaithersburg TN you know how expensive it gets.

Hotel is definitely run down. If we had never stayed at a Comfort Inn before, I would never stay at any of their locations in the future. The reason I picked this hotel was because it had a balcony. Mold in shower grout, nasty stuff on bathroom counter top with wet washcloth and towel when checked in. Refrigerator door open when checked in. Curtain rod not attached to blackout curtain, but sitting in corner of room and broken. Breakfast poor, and not available until 7 a.m. every day of week. Had to really pull on door to get it totally shut and locked.
