Staying at this property was disappointing at best. While the staff was helpful and ready to assist, the property itself needed and needs a very deep thorough cleaning. Every place I looked was dirty. My room was very dirty. Whoever does the cleaning must live in a round room! (Dirt in all the corners) A property which is part of the "Choice" properties must maintain a level of cleanliness acceptable to any traveler. This property falls way short of that goal. If fact, the lack of cleanliness made us feel very uncomfortable. In addition, the door was loose on the hinges to the point the security bolt wouldn't lock.

I've stayed at and reviewed many properties worldwide, but none needing attention as much as this one.

I have never taken pictures of my observations or things I felt required attention but, this is an exception.

I don't believe I will ever stay here again.

Our room had a heater that didn’t work. At 4:45 PM we called the desk and a nice man came and fixed it. When we returned at 10:30 later that night, once again the heater didn’t work. After waiting 10 minutes for the heater to work per the front desk, they moved us to another room, which meant we had to repack. When we arrived in that room, no heat again. After another 10 minutes waiting we were moved a 3rd time. We now finally had heat but also a broken floor lamp, broken phone and a burned out light in the bathroom but we had heat and since it was now 11:30 PM, we just wanted to go to bed. The following day, after asking for a refund for the room, the manager refused because we DID get a room with heat, well silly us wanting heat considering it was in the 30’s outside. NOT HAPPY with our stay or the managers response. It was our anniversary and a special evening was ruined. We won’t be back!
