This hotel is conveniently located along a busy corridor with many places to shop and eat. It was very clean, comfortable and off the main road enough that it was quiet, as in no traffic noise. The check in was quick, easy and efficient. The room was well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was tasty. I had eggs and bacon but there is cold cereal, etc. as well. Great coffee in the lobby. I did not have time to visit the indoor pool or fitness center, so have no opinion on them.

We booked one night here for a quick hockey tournament and it was in a great location, the staff was super friendly and the beds were very comfortable. The hospitality staff even accommodated our super early hockey game and got us a few breakfast options nearly 2 hours before breakfast was to be served for the day. The gentleman at the front desk communicated this to her based on a quick conversation I had with him the night before. They went above expectations and were very pleasant about it.
The only reason I didn’t rate the stay a 5 is that the hotel pool was a bit Chernobyl green, so we decided to skip it, the gym appeared to have two pieces of equipment, not much of a gym at all, and the windows didn’t have black out curtains. We woke super early, so the sun wasn’t a potential issue, but we were on the first floor and had lights from cars shining into our window at all hours of the night and early morning. The bathroom counter had a pretty substantial crack by the sink. I wonder how long it will take someone to apply enough pressure to really cause some damage or harm there... but otherwise it was a great stay and we will return when we are back in the area. Also- don’t miss the Champy’s in Madison for some awesome fried chicken, tamales, fried jalapeños, pickles and sausage, and blood orange beer!
