I booked through groupon so was pleasantly surprised how well we were treated, though experience with Comfort Suites, I shouldn't have been! The room was clean and comfortable and had an awesome view.
We were on the 3rd floor on the west end furthest from sea lions but could still hear them. They weren't too bothersome. The breakfast room was large, clean and there was a big variety. My sister and I were with our mother for a girls night out! My sister enjoyed it so much she had her husband join her the next night and they gave her the same room and rate. My mom and I were going to go home but since it was so stormy we were talked into staying another night. The room we had was on the 2nd floor. We had a view to the west and of the river but were completely blocked from the east by a bump out of the hotel. It also, amazingly, completely blocked the barks of the sea lions!
That was wonderful! The beds were also very comfortable.

Happy to find a pet friendly hotel that doesn't overcharge for well behaved dogs. Easy grass locations next to hotel for pets. Sea lions barking nearby is a treat. Could use some room upgrades, door are heavy and shut loudly. Clean room. Staff is wonderful and friendly. Great location to have both view, and less traffic congestion. Plenty of parking.
