The room was newly renovated and was quite nice with a huge bathroom. The doors to the rooms open out into the corridor, which is the opposite of most motels. Odder still was the bathroom door which, when open, completely blocks the door to the corridor.
The breakfast area was still a construction site and staff struggled to keep it stocked with food and too many people for the small room milled around. Once the renovations are completed the small area may accommodate more people.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The receptionist, Lupita, was very nice and offered her help in anything we needed. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and complete.
We had two minor problems:
(1) With the pool. This is a small and clean pool. The problem is that it doesn't have steps to enter in it; so, my wife had a hard time entering into the pool;
(2) Our room had a very disgusting view: a trash container (it was also uncomfortable the fact that one of the workers looked inside my room!).
Finally, there was a very noisy and loud child in the pool. Even though he was shouting for a long time, nobody from the hotel told him anything!
