The Comfort Inn Greenfield Village
Booked On ChoiceHotels.com
Stayed For 2 days...
Monday 9/9/19 -Tuesday 9/10/19
Checked Out On Wednesday 9/11/19
First Impressions...
*Parking Lot Not Well Lit. No Cameras In The Back Parking Area.
*Smoking Section Located In The Front Of The Building Near Main Entranceway.
(Directly Under Guest Rooms Windows)
•Basic Business 101- Especially Hospitality.
Smoking Section Should Be In The Back Of The Hotel. Regardless Of The “Foot Rule”
*Entering Building- Doors Were Loud, Squeaky And Outdated.
*Lobby- Luggage Carrier’s Severely Outdated.
*Breakfast Area- Outdated.
*The Lobby Itself Smelled Of A Senior Facility.
(Not Disgusting, Certainly Not Fresh Or Clean)
*Guest Room- Appeared Clean. Unfortunately Wasn’t!
(Would’ve Complained. However. Driving 36 Hours From Oregon To Michigan...Will Make Anyone Weary, Didn’t Have The Energy)
*Guest Bathroom- I Didn’t Shower Nor Use The Toilet.
(Stood At The Stink To Wash And Stood To Urinate)
*The Bedding Was Unclean.
*The Pillows Were So Soft They Went Completely FLAT just touching them.
*The Air Conditioner Needs Replacing. (Missing Knobs, Front Portion Was Cracked)
*Window Curtains DOES NOT Shut. Strangely Odd!
(Turned Off All Lights To Undress And Wash)
The Comfort Inn Near Greenfield Village PRICES ARE UNREASONABLY HIGH, for a 1 Maybe 2 star Motel...basically.
•This is my honest experience without bias.
*5 Stars For Customer Service!
The Night Supervisor Was Friendly And Efficient.

I was a bit nervous with this hotel due to a issue when we booked. But, it is almost done remodeling, the staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast had lots of choices, tho sausages and eggs could have been warmer. Cookies available in afternoon.
Shuttle service to Henry Ford and Greenfield Village works great tho only runs twice in morning and twice in afternoon, which you really need that much time to see it all.
Discount tickets are available at hotel.
I highly recommend staying here.
