One of the nicest C.S. we've been to; lots of smiles at the counter; very clean room/bathroom, but bathroom is really small, not big enough for 2 to turn around in. Room was spotless and beds very comfortable; quiet. But I still gave this place 4 stars for overall cleanliness, service attitude (although not recognized as Choice members). Quick wifi connection. We were here to see the Grand Canyon and I should have googled the distance from Williams to the S. Rim. My bad. But worked out ok. Would stay here again.

The only thing keeping me from an excellent review was the very soft bedding and outside noise which kept me from getting a good nights sleep. Property is older but very well maintained. Room was very clean and had all the basic necessities. Internet could be faster but since this was not a business trip, was not that vital.
All staff encountered were friendly and helpful. At check in, I was asked if we had had dinner yet, and then was told recommended places to dine. Wish I had taken the recommendations as the place we chose ( NOT recommended) left much to be desired!
Looking for a photo op of a RT 66 sign? Look no further than outside the front door. Literally.
There is an indoor pool and hot tub which we did not use. Breakfast was ample and dishes all readily replenished thanks to an on the ball breakfast attendant.
We were in Williams to take the Grand Canyon Railroad in the morning, and front desk gave great directions and we arrived at the parking lot in under 5 minutes.
We heard chatter on the train of others who had spent the night in Williams and were troubled by train noise. At this location, directly on historic Rt 66, we did not encounter that at all.
If we are in Williams again for the same purpose (rail trip( I would stay here again
