We've stayed here before, and thought it was above average back then. Nothing has really changed, but our stay just wasn't as nice, this time. Maybe our tastes have changed as we've aged. Granted, lots of activities in the area made it harder to sleep, even with ear plugs. The fact that this place actually gives them away sort of underlines that issue. Lots of car shows in the area often mean lots of noise in the parking lot when those old vehicles pull in at midnight. Management *could* make a point to tell the Bay Bombers and others to be mindful of this. In a different location, away from some of the noisier stuff, and this motel would be pretty nice. But at the price, even with a prepaid discount, this just doesn't cut it for us, now. On the plus side, the hot breakfast is very good, front desk service is excellent and the grounds are well-maintained. The rooms are in good shape and the layout makes sense for the space available. The walls, however, are very thin, with no sound-proofing at all. I am sad to not be able to give this motel a higher rating this time, but the cost is higher than it should be.

After a very long flight delay, my husband checked in to a room here. We had confirmed late arrival and he didn't arrive until after midnight. Rental car agency was closed. He finally caught a cab. He checked in was horribly aghast at the room. King. Single sink in the bathroom with no place to even lay a toothbrush, and no place to even hang a towel. Worst experience for what was supposed to be a relaxing getaway. We are Choice Hotels members, almost Platinum status, and we are done....
