Nice room, good rate, and a million dollar view! I travel a fair amount so imagine my surprise to find the most comfortable bed in a hotel that I've been in in years! Not kidding.
The staff is friendly and professional, of course, but Kathy is a real gem. She went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.
It's an older building but everything works and the free breakfast was an unlooked for bonus.

I had been traveling in Nova Scotia during Hurricane Dorian and had been in accommodations without power for two nights. I was booked at a motel in Bedford and they were also without power. They were good enough to cancel my stay without penalty so I could book something else. I called The Comfort Inn and on very short notice they booked me in. There was a initially a bit of mixup with my room but that was quickly resolved and I was settled in and thankfully in the shower soon after arriving. I was in a room with a second bedroom 2 televisions a refrigerator and microwave. It was clean spacious and a much better price than downtown Halifax. It is located within an easy few minutes of Dartmouth orHalifax and there are plenty of nearby restaurants. Available items at breakfast were ham, sausage, eggs, waffles and the usual fruit, bagels, toast, cereal, yogurt and coffee,tea and juice. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. I would recommend a stay here as it is clean comfortable and good value fo the budget minded traveler. There is also a guest laundry room.
