Ocean City is Maryland’s crown jewel. Tons of families (roughly eight million, to be precise) flock to this picturesque sandy beach city every year to experience some of the best and most beautiful surf on the East Coast.
The Comfort Inn Gold Coast is an excellent option for families who want to experience the laid back, carefree lifestyle of a beach resort town, without paying the beach resort town price. The hotel is only a block away from the beach, and within walking distance to some of OCMD’s best restaurants, shops and family-friendly entertainment.
Rooms include cable TV, free high speed Internet access, a mini-fridge and microwave, a coffeemaker, and an iron and ironing board. Some rooms even include in-room hot tubs. Though there’s an abundance of things to do around the inn, guests are invited to enjoy the indoor heated pool and exercise room. There is also a Denny’s restaurant located onsite and open 24/7, as well as a laundry facility.

From the moment we walked into the Comfort Inn Gold Coast, we knew the proximity to our venue was perfect for our wedding room block. When we spoke with Katie, our booking helper, we knew this was the place for us. We didn't even both going to the next hotel. Working with Katie, and the Gold Coast staff was more amazing than words can express. They helped me plan the room block from four hours away, worked with out guests from all over, and even helped when my Grandmother fell and needed ambulatory assistance. From the first day we met them, to the last moment before check-out, their communication, professionalism, and kindness was nothing below excellent. I, along with the rest of my party, truly appreciate all of the help they provided to make that part of wedding planning a breeze! Thank you Katie and Comfort Inn Family!

When we arrived we were a bit put off with the parking situation or lack thereof. The hotel shares a parking lot with a restaurant that specializes in breakfast (hence the lack of continental breakfast) and a theatre. There are only four handicapped spots. While there is parking on a nearby street, it is limited and the walk-in would be substantial. Check-in was easy and the staff was pleasant. We had a choice of floors and opted for the fifth floor. Everything was fine until we were awoken around midnight by partygoers in the next room. We learned the walls are paper thin the hard way.
