Though the location is good and room was priced below most downtown competition, was definitely not worth the savings. Beds were so soft and lumpy we awoke with aching backs, breakfast was subpar, and room not the cleanest - I found an old sock under an ottoman and they never fixed sink faucet that only ran warm and hot! Shower curtain mysteriously disappeared on our second day. Only plusses were a friendly front desk staff and room was a decent size. If staying in downtown SLC, I'd look elsewhere.

A comfortable motel on a busy one way street that leads to Hwy 15. Furniture in the room is cosy but worn. Loved the hassock and stuffed armchair that was great to watch TV. The fridge and microwave are handy and you can order in from a menu that delivers right to your door. The Pizza was delicious. The shower was not working well as many holes were plugged. The fridge is noisy as is the heat/AC but they can be turned off. Breakfast is ordinary with the regular offerings of a free motel buffet. Price is high for what you get but a lot less expensive than the big chains. The one State Liquor store is just around the corner if you want to buy beer, wine or spirits for your room. In this Mormon city liquor is hard to find, there is a McDonalds across the street and a nice restaurant in the Sheridan Hotel directly opposite the Comfort Inn.
