While part of a hotel chain, this Comfort Inn feels more like an intimate inn with its 18 guestrooms and suite. Centrally located and freshly refurbished, the Comfort Inn Carmel By The Sea was recently received the AAA Triple Diamond Award. The double queen room sleeps a family of four and offers views of the brick courtyard, which is perfect spot to enjoy a coffee or breakfast. For a more spacious accommodation, the fireplace suite can sleep four people with its king size bed and pullout sleeper sofa.

Hubby and I spent 2 nights at the Comfort Inn in Carmel at the end of October. Check in was easy and the lady that checked us in was very pleasant and accomodating. Reasonably priced for the Carmel area.
Our room and bathroom were immaculately clean and the bed was very comfortable. Parking was scarce. I think there were 8 spots, but there were some spaces available on the street. We always managed to find a spot. Location is good, but close to the top of Ocean Ave, so it can be quite a hike to walk back up from the beach.
Breakfast was adequate with both hot and cold dishes available.
All in all we had a very nice stay and will be returning next month for 3 more nights.
Definitely recommend.

First off there is limited parking, maybe 8 spots then you have to park on the road. Second there is no A/C. They will supply fans. Man at the desk told me to just open a window. When I asked about crime he said you're in the safest city in the country. No elevators so not ADA compliant. Way too expensive for the seedy room you're getting. Not recommended.
