We often stay in Comfort Inns/Suites when traveling because my husband uses them for work and we often have points to redeem. For a budget hotel I'm often pleasantly surprised by the quality of this brand. The Bellingham location was one of the best we've stayed in. The staff was very pleasant, the room was spotless, and breakfast was very good.

We've stayed here a few times before and have never been disappointed. It's quiet and the beds are realy comfy and when you're away from home, that's what you're looking for. The breakfast buffet has a good selection but last week when we stayed, there was one major issue that could be problems. I got some corn flakes with some raisin bran on top and scoopedd out some brown sugar. For the rest of the day, I felt awful, my insides were churning and we had to come back to the room so I could stretch out. The next day, I was leery but got the raisin bran and when I scooped the "brown sugar" on top, I spotted - peanuts. Who the hell puts peanuts in brown sugar? I have a nut sensitivity, which explains my issue the previous day but some kids are hyper allergic and one peanut could actualy kill them There should have been a warning label or something listing peanuts as an ingredient but nothing. Management should really take a hard look at that as I see a lawsuit brewing. Other than that, there's a good selection of scrambled eggs, bacon of sausages, home fried potaotes, yogurt, waffles and the usual muffins and pastries. Good place to stay but check things out if you have allergies.
