I've been using the Choice family of hotels for a long time. I appreciate the consistency of the amenities (always-comfy beds and pillows) and the usual friendliness of the staff,
and the ease of staying with my assistance trained service animal in non-pet hotels.

This overnight stay in Bangor just of 95 near Bangor Mall, however, was THE BEST experience to date. This QUIET hotel is really nicely appointed for a Comfort Inn. It seemed like an upgrade from the standard CI's.

The front desk staff was so nice. We were urged to get settled then come down for cheese and crackers. Later, we were reminded of the fresh baked cookies. :) I asked for a very quiet room, and they put us on the third floor without neighbors. A very good night's sleep!

I appreciated how the dining area is not in the middle of the food service area. Much more convenient for all. Also, the wait staff went above and beyond by finding me a ziplock bag for my sister's to-be-eaten-on-the-plane bagel.

Starbucks is next door, as is a surprisingly upgraded Wendy's. A staff recommended Mexican restaurant shares the parking lot.

SUPER friendly and pleasant staff. Really, the best I've encountered anywhere. Super job, Y'all!

Five stars. We really enjoyed a comfortable night at this hotel. We always choose to stay at a Comfort Inn when traveling because they are a great value in a mid-priced hotel. The Comfort Inn Bangor is one of the best we have ever stayed at. The staff was extremely friendly, the room was very clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable. Bonus: We were kindly offered a piece of pie when we checked in, as a token of Customer Appreciation. What a nice touch! An additional feature of this hotel is the convenient and very good Mexican restaurant that is located across the parking lot.
