We stayed here for one night. The person at the desk who greeted us was polite. The hotel was nice and clean. The room was big and tastefully decorated. The beds were super comfortable, “wanna buy the mattress and pillows for home” kind of comfortable. We checked in quite late but were told we could order a pizza from the hotel bar. We went to the bar and the seats at the bar were full. We would have liked to sit down at a table but the tables in the rest of the room looked haphazardly pushed to the far end of the room like someone moved them to vacuum but never put them back so we left to find something in town. The continental breakfast in the morning was great. Food was fresh and delicious unlike some places I’ve stayed at. We never used the pool because it was closing soon by the time we arrived.

If you want to visit Madison but don't want to pay the inexplicably high room rates in the city, this is the place! It's about a 15 minute drive from Madison, which isn't bad at all. It's easily accessible from the highway in a nice quiet area surrounded by cornfields - there are a couple of gas stations and fast food options nearby as well. The hotel is pet friendly with reasonable pet fees. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast featured real scrambled eggs (not the powdered "just add water" ones that most Choice Hotels seem to use). Service was friendly and courteous - Valentina at the front desk is the best!
