Checked in Saturday for 2 nights. Arrived at 11:30 a.m. and asked if I could check in early, The room was ready and Ciara at the front desk, said I could check in. She was friendly and helpful recommending restaurants in the neighborhood and other helpful tips of what to do/see in town.
Location - literally walking distance to restaurants, a few minutes drive to the waterfront, Scandinave spa, the historic town and church.
Room - spotlessly cleaned. 2 queens. Lots of towels, in-room coffee, elevator for accessibility, gym, pool, clean hallways, dinning area.
Breakfast - Cathy was amazing. Very attentive and efficient - restocking breakfast items, helping guests, keeping the area clean. Pretty impressive breakfast offered - juices/water, coffee/teas, yogurts, fresh fruit, eggs boiled/ scrambled, tasty sausage patties, bacon, all sorts of bread, pastries, muffins, jams, honey, peanut butter, assorted fresh fruit. The coffee was simply divine.
Jed the night front desk guy - I called to get a little extra moisturizer and in 2 seconds he was knocking on my door with the moisturizer - great response time. Sherry also at the front desk on Sunday, beyond helpful even printing directions to church, remembering to wish me on Monday for my birthday.
The little extra touches - friendliness, eagerness to help, knowledge of locale, the smiles, efficiency, the warm welcome every time you came through the door - thank you team at Comfort Inn & Suites - Collingwood for making my stay special.

Clean rooms and pleasant staff. The breakfast offerings were standard but fresh & plentiful. We had an issue with the alarm clock in the room but the gentleman from maintenance was quick to remedy the problem. The pool area is quite sad and in need of a face lift. Overall we would stay here again.
