Overview

The beautiful Columbia Gorge Lodge is comprised of charming Pacific Northwest cabin-style accommodations, each with a unique theme. Families love La Frontera, a private cabin with a full kitchenette (stovetop but no oven), an outdoor hot tub, a gas fireplace, a south-of-the-border decor theme, and enough sleeping space for seven people — including a loft, which kids can’t get enough of.
Other good options for smaller families include the Northwest Passage suite (Lewis and Clark theme, full bed + full futon couch), Dreamcatcher (Native American theme, full bed + full futon), Highlands (Scottish theme, full bed + twin futon), or others like Far East, Afrika, Calypso, and Outback. No matter which unit you choose, you’ll have free Wi-Fi, a kitchenette, a fireplace, and hot tub access, either private or shared. Plus, you’re staying on the Columbia Gorge…so beautiful views are a given!

Angus received us at his cabins while we were cycling from Alaska to south America. It was a perfect break for us. The cabins are spacious, the kitchen are well equipped. Everything is clean and tidy. We also had a great pleasure relaxing in the hot tub on the back terrace, with a view on the river! The manager even offered us to store our bikes inside an other building, next to our cabin, so it would be dry and safe for the night. A great break!!

We have stayed with Angus at the lodge many times over the last few years, I can say our stays are always delightful. We enjoy the environment and the staff. We locked ourselves out of our room in the wee hours and Angus was there in a flash to let us back in one Friday night. We have found the lodge to be the perfect getaway.
As for the parking the lot across the street is almost always empty. There is plenty of parking.
Now to the negative people, please remember that this is by the train, if it bothers you please stay elsewhere, more room for those of us who love the environment and the fantastic staff.
Peace be with all
