Overview

Year after year, families return to Seaside’s Colony Motel, and with good reason — the hotel boasts some of the largest motel rooms in town. Rooms are simple, yet clean, and come in Standard and Deluxe variations. We recommend a Deluxe unit, as it sleeps up to five guests and provides a large refrigerator. If you have a family of four and can squeeze your beach snacks into a small fridge, book a Standard unit.
The hotel is close enough to the beach, yet far enough from the hustle and bustle of downtown Seaside Heights. When you’re not at the nearby boardwalk, amusement parks (Casino Pier and Funtown Pier) and restaurants, retreat to the motel’s outdoor swimming pool, or cook a meal on the gas grill.

Unlike many other hotels in Seaside, it is clear that the owners of this motel take great pride in keeping it clean.
A few pluses and minuses of the Motel:
+ clean
+ great little pool for children
+ free beach passes
+ CVS right across the street
- on the very edge of what I would call the tourist area
- definitely a motel, and not a 5 star Hilton
- can be noisy (depending upon who is above/next to you)

It all started right since renting the room. Cleanliness, family atmosphere, Sunny and Ron’s friendliness and very welcoming and can’t leave out Sunny’s flowers ???? ???? . My hubby and I spent 3 days of peace in this establishment. What you See in pictures IS what you get. Great place to spend your vacation and a small walk away from beach. Ron does make sure that the pool is tested on a daily basis for correct PH levels. (With the help of his selected Guest helper friends). Sunny and Ron are very friendly and do care that you feel as part of their “Colony” family. For a start of your day Sunny has coffee ☕️ awaiting. If you would like to grill something quick Sunny has a grill to use. If you are looking for a seafood diner Sunny recommends Bum Rogers in Seaside park! Delicious crabs if you love getting down and dirty. The location at night is so peaceful you will get your nights rest to start your new day events. On your departure day they are just as friendly as if you just arrived there. Highly recommend that you check this Motel out on your stay at Seaside ! We rate your Motel a 5+ ⭐️.
