We stayed 6 nights at coco de mer in room 517. Coco de mer is such a beautiful and relaxing place and even you can see the sunset from this hotel! The staff was also very friendly at each time. I have read that some people are dissatisfied because the beach at the hotel has some seaweed... but the hotel is deffinately not in charge for that!!!

After arriving on the tiny airport of Praslin, the taxi that we pre- arranged through the internet was already waiting for us. (Laurent's taxi service, SCR 250/EUR 15 to the Coco de Mer) for a quick 15 minute trip to the hotel. Praslin is quite a bit more relaxed than Mahe and we really enjoyed it.
The hotel is in a secluded area and has a nice garden. The reception area looked really nice and in pristine condition just like the rest of the hotel. Check-in was very friendly and included cold towel and a drink.
Our room was nicely decorated, spacious and clean. We kind of fell in love with the room as there were a few areas to relax and watch the sea. At the start there were some problems with the wifi but after mentioning this issue at the front desk, it was solved right away.
We were on half board which we can recommend as there were no other restaurants close to the hotel. The buffet both for breakfast and at night were great with excellent high quality food and a lot of choice that changed every day. We enjoyed that at night it was not the standard hotel buffet food but nice locally inspired dishes.
Last but definitely not least were the great people working at the resort. They were genuinely interested in their guests and talking to them was a lot of fun.
The Coco de Mer is a great hotel and fully recommended for a wonderful stay at Praslin!
