Currently here at the moment (November 11th) and this hotel is amazing!

We came in 2017 and I was a bit worried about the new refurb the hotel has had and hoped it wouldn’t of lost its charm, but it hasn’t the charm is still there!

The check in was very quick and was greeted with a lovely welcome drink.

We have a lovely room in Villa 7 (room 714) and it’s perfect. Very quiet and our balcony looks over the gardens. Our room attendant Norma is lovely and does an excellent job.

The 3 pools, addition of the Italian restaurant and the stage being in a different place, the whole hotel feels so much more open.

The food here is amazing with something for everyone from the main buffet to the steakhouse, Italian, Asian and Mexican. All are fantastic and the waiting staff work so hard to make sure you have a fantastic meal.

The bar staff all work hard too, especially in the pool bar. If you ask them they will make any drink you like. The iced coffee with baileys is definitely one to have.

The entertainment staff are brilliant, and always there to chat to you and make sure you have a great time. The white and neon parties are a great new addition, so much fun and such a great atmosphere.

Definitely will return again, maybe even next year ????

Riu Tequila was wonderful. We had access to 4 different restaurants a Bamboo Asian restaurant, Italian buffet restaurant with main meal waitered service, a fully waitered steak restaurant and the main buffet; you are spoilt for choice. Also having the option to access two other hotels and make use of their Mexican themed restaurant.
The hotel was immaculate, the staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms were well presented and maintained. The pools were accessible and offered choice. There is a pool bar and they are all within reach of a daily BBQ.
There is an on-site shop offering basic essentials and more. In addition less than a 5 minute walk are more shops outside the premises to the left.
The evening entertainment offers choice, with a really wild white or neon party every Friday.
There is an on-site nightclub of Pascha which continues serving all inclusive drinks until 3am!

The beach is within walking distance or can have a shuttle for transfers. The beach offers lots of water sports activities, body boarding, jet skis, parasailing, canoeing, snorkelling, catamaran and banana boat rides. Mostly free with some exceptions. With the beach being on the doorstep of Yucatan, all inclusive drinks are readily available.
The transfer takes an hour from Cancun airport and offers easy access.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and can see why many return. Will start saving now!
