2019년 11월 5일부터 11월 9일까지 4박 5일 일정으로 즐거운 클럽메드를 방문했습니다. 벌써 쿨럽메드 푸켓은 두 번째 방문이었지만 그 즐거움은 두 배가 되어 돌아왔습니다. 이번에는 한국인 G.O가 누구일까? 클럽메드 촌장은 누구일까? 클럽메드 메인 바 매니저는 누구일까? 하면서 방문했던 클럽메드!

새로운 촌장 Jeoffrey를 만나 사진도 찍고 간단한 이야기도 나누었는데, 정말 유쾌하고 열정적인 촌장이란 것을 알게 되었습니다. 클럽메드에 가면 반드시 꼭 만나야 하는 촌장이니 꼭 만나보기를 추천합니다. 열정적이고 활동적인 Jeoffrey는 클럽메드 푸켓을 최고의 휴양지로 만들 것이라고 확신합니다.

클럽메드 푸켓에 있는 사나이 KOREA G.O Chris와 식사를 같이 하면서 많은 이야기도 나누었으며, 클럽메드에 대한 유용한 정보를 알게 되었습니다. 항상 바쁘게 뛰어다니면서 일하느라 제가 많이 귀찮게 했는데도 매번 웃으면서 반겨주는 Chris는 정말 멋진 G.O입니다. 이번에 공중 화장실에 휴대전화기를 놓고 나와 분실을 했는데, 자신의 일처럼 신속하게 찾아 준 고마운 Chris! 전 이제 다음 클럽메드는 Chris가 있는 곳으로 또 갈 것입니다.

유쾌하고 상큼한 KOREA G.O Olivia는 항상 웃으면서 질문에 대한 대답을 꼼꼼하게 해주면서 자상하게 가르쳐 주었습니다. 제가 어디에서 무엇을 하면 좋을지에 대해 조언도 해주고 잘 챙겨주어 대접을 받는 기분이었습니다. Olivia를 만나면 꼭 이렇게 말하고 싶습니다. “당신은 너무 열정적이고 아름답습니다!”입니다. 이제 곧 다른 곳으로 떠나는 Olivia를 또 만나기 위해 저는 여행 일정을 준비해야겠습니다.

경상도 사투리가 귀엽고 매력적인 웃음과 발랄한 춤을 잘 추는 KOREA G.O Rosy는 며칠 간 아파서 많이 만나지는 못했지만 식사를 함께 할 수 있는 시간이 생겨서 즐거웠습니다. 여동생 같은 귀여움과 애교가 많은 Rosy는 이것저것 맛있게 먹는 모습도 보기에 즐거웠습니다. 만약 클럽메드에 가서 Rosy를 만난다면 꼭 같이 식사를 해보시기 바랍니다. 즐겁고 맛있게 밥을 먹는 자신을 발견하게 될 것입니다. 또한 열정적인 무대 매너와 적극적인 모습도 Rosy의 매력이니 꼭 저녁쇼에 참석하기 바랍니다.

항상 클럽매드를 방문할 때마다 BAR G.O들과 친해지는데 항상 저를 챙겨준 즐겁고 유쾌한 BAR G.O Shereif Sinai. 오랜 친구를 만난 것처럼 즐겁게 이야기를 나누어주는데 정말 즐거웠습니다. 항상 볼 때마다 먼저 인사를 해주고 챙겨주는 모습이 다정한 친구처럼 느껴졌습니다.

그 외에 많은 G.O들이 있었지만, 힐링을 하느라 이름을 다 외우지 못해 기록을 하지 못합니다. 그렇지만 저에게 항상 맛있는 커피와 음료를 제공해준 BAR G.O TEAM에게 감사 인사 전합니다. 특히 한국 G.O들이 있기에 더욱 클럽메드 푸켓에 한국 G.M들이 늘어나는 것 같습니다.

We visited the fun Club Med for 4 nights and 5 days from November 5 to November 9, 2019. Already Kool Med Phuket was the second visit, but the fun has doubled. Who is the Korean G.O this time? Who is the Chief of Club Med? Who is the Club Med Main Bar Manager? Club Med visited while!

I met the new village head Jeoffrey, took pictures and talked briefly about it, and I found it really pleasant and passionate. If you go to Club Med, it is a must-see.

While sharing a meal with KOREA G.O Chris at Club Med Phuket, I learned a lot about Club Med. Chris always smiles and greets me a lot while I've been bothering me because I've always been busy running. This time I lost my cell phone in a public restroom and lost it. Thank you Chris for finding it as quickly as possible. I will now go to the next club med where Chris is.

Pleasant and refreshing, KOREA G.O Olivia always smiled and meticulously taught me the answers to the questions. I felt like I would give me advice about where and what to do and take care of me. When I meet Olivia, I want to say this. “You are so passionate and beautiful!” Now, to meet Olivia who is leaving soon, I need to prepare a trip.

KOREA G.O Rosy, who has a cute and charming smile and youthful dance, has been sick for a few days and hasn't met much, but it was fun to have a meal together. Rosy, who has a lot of cuteness and sweetness like her sister, also enjoyed seeing her eat delicious. If you go to Club Med and meet Rosy, be sure to eat together. You will find yourself eating fun and delicious rice. Passionate stage manners and active looks are Rosy's attractions, so be sure to attend the evening show.

BAR G.O Shereif Sinai is always happy to be with BAR G.O. It was a lot of fun talking like a long time friend. Every time I saw him, I felt like a friendly friend.

There were a lot of other G.Os, but he couldn't record all the names because of healing. But thanks to BAR G.O TEAM for always providing me with delicious coffee and drinks. In particular, as there are Korean G.Os, it seems that there are more Korean G.Ms at Club Med Phuket.

Overall experience is good but there is room for improvement:
5 star: kids program, activities and performances. These are impressive. GO are all friendly and work very hard.
3.5 stars: Food in main restaurant is overall okay but lack surprises and higher end choices such as seafood. Over a week stay, only on a Friday we have prawns and a Saturday night with clams and oysters. Food quality of some nights are better than others. View in Chu-da restaurant is good.
2 stars: food during one lunch in Chu-da restaurant, limited choice and not up to the mark in terms of taste. Presentation is not bad though. Staff also lacks smile and seem to be pretty unhappy working there.
Housekeeping is a disappointment. First time in our lives that there is no towel provided on our arrival and we need to call and ask for them. No apology from staff. Website on deluxe room stated that the fridge will be refilled upon request but was told that it comes with a charge.
1 star: the room is awful. We have a deluxe room so already not a basic one. Water kept sleeping out from the shower to the outside area through a leakage on the ground. The worst hotel room we have ever been in.

The saving grace for the stay is really the excellent team in mini club, GOs and the fantastic program, that is why still a 4 star. But honestly we will choose to go to another club Med next time because of the below average room and housekeeping.
