Overview

Clifton Victoria Inn at the Falls used to be a Hampton Inn, and still features many of the perks of that hotel: complimentary breakfast, a swimming pool and free Wi-Fi. Converted to an independent hotel in 2010, the hotel also offers free parking, larger-than-average rooms (including Family Suites) and a location on Clifton Hill — steps from restaurants and attractions, and a five-minute drive to Niagara Falls. It’s also located near Fallsview Indoor Waterpark, and the hotel regularly offers packages that combine overnight accommodations with admission to the popular park.

The rooms and hallways are showing their age. The breakfast area is very crowded. The tables are so close that it is impossible to walk between or move a chair to sit around a table. The food selection is getting poorer, and, the foam plates and plastic cutlery is poor quality. We have stayed here since it was a very good Hampton Inn. This time we checked early.

Loved the Jr.Suite. The room was very nice . Loved the mini refrigerator. It was nice to find a hotel with free packing. Also enjoy having the free newspaper to read with my morning coffee.
The only complaint was, there needs to be a listing of the channels on the tv in room .
Family Activities
Pool
The hotel offers a small, indoor pool. It's located in the hotel's atrium, and is hidden by an enclosed wall. It reaches about 5 feet in depth; lifeguards do not man the pool. There's also a Whirlpool.
Nearby Activities
The hotel is located near Clifton Hill, where you'll find Ripley's Believe It Or Not, Guinness World of Records and Movieland Wax Museum Niagara Falls, plus several arcades. It's also located near Fallsview Indoor Waterpark, and guests can take advantage of overnight packages that combine accommodations and admission.

The Art of Smart Timing
The hotel is busiest Memorial Day to Labor Day, when many families spend their summer vacations in Niagara Falls. While summer is the best time to visit, don't overlook the months of September and October, or even April and May. You'll find fewer crowds, and many attractions will be open.
Getting There
The hotel is about 45 to 60 minutes from Buffalo Niagara International Airport in New York -- the best airport option for those visiting the area. It is serviced by most major airlines. You'll need to pay a few tolls on your way to the hotel, including a $1 toll in New York and a $3.50 toll to cross Rainbow Bridge to Canada.
Getting Around
You can easily walk to the attractions and restaurants on Clifton Hill, but you'll want a car to get to most other places, including the Falls.
For Mom and Dad
Make a reservation at Weinkeller, a craft winery with prix-fixe menus. The restaurant also serves a small selection of beers. It's open 5 p.m. to midnight, Sunday to Thursday and 5 to 1 a.m. on Saturday.
