Stayed 5 days during OOW2019.
The hotel was covered in plastic due to a major renovation. In fact, the following day after check out, the hotel will close for a few months.

It's an older hotel with older smaller rooms but plenty of charm.
From the 5° you can hear the sirens of the first responders, as well as other urban sounds.

Breakfast was great! Breakfast starts at 06:30.
We did not have a chance drink at the bar. Wish we did, it’s beautiful and known for its good drinksand friendly bartenders.

Dated, but working on it.

During my stay at the Clift, they were in the midst of a heavy makeover. The rooms are extremely dated. The nicest part of the hotel is its bar. There was heavy construction noise pretty early in the morning. I wouldn't stay here until they've completed their renovations.
