The check-in process went quickly, and the front-desk staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. We didn't use the indoor pool but did check the water temp, and it seemed like a reasonable temp. The included breakfast was pretty standard fare, with scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles, cereal, etc.

If you're visiting the Harpers Ferry NP and/or visiting the nearby casino, this hotel is close to both. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed at the Clarion for 6 nights with a tour group visiting the civil war sites. The hotel is set in a very good location for enjoying the local sites as well as for outdoor activities and boasts a spectacular view of the mountains. It is conveniently located near Charlestown WV and the hotel runs shuttle service to the casino there as well as to downtown Harper’s Ferry where you will find excellent restaurants. The hotel has a local tourist person to help arrange river activities as well as helping you to find local historical sites. The restaurant in the hotel is a lively place every night with good food. The rooms are clean and neat though a little dated. The staff is friendly and helpful. Will definitely return to this hotel.
