Great location

Spent 4 nights while touring Cape Town and surrounds. A 15 minute safe walk to the Waterfront district. A must to do. Easy access via road in and out of the city. Nice staff with a Great breakfast selection. Our room 344 was spacious and clean looking over the canal - a bit noisy from city traffic and voices but not really an issue.

The most friendly hotel

This is definitely the friendliest City Lodge in Cape Town. I stayed a week and came and went at the most irregular hours. The staff are always (even at 3am) incredibly friendly and seem to genuinely care about you and your stay. They are very familiar with their product and nothing ever seems to be an issue. It truly feels like home.

The rooms are clean, spacious and airy and exactly what one would expect; however power point closer to the bed would be convenient.

It feels like the "I'm kind" campaign is lived sincerely at this hotel.
