Located in the heart of historic downtown Carson City, City Center Hotel underwent an interior remodel in 2012 on its 83 rooms. The guestrooms now include free Wi-Fi, in-room coffeemaker, hair dryer and an iron and ironing board in all rooms. Additionally, microwave ovens and refrigerators can be arranged. Vending and ice machines are conveniently located on each floor. Rooms are available in both double queen and king, and there is the Executive or Star suite complete with adjoining meeting space. Guests also enjoy convenient RV parking, non-smoking and smoking room options.

Great location for downtown events!

This was the City Center hotel, now the Carson Tahoe. It's a bit dated, but our room was clean, the AC blew cold and it's in a nice central location for downtown events and activities. We stayed one night, check in/out was easy. Nothing fancy about the room, but it was clean and there was a refrigerator. The price reflected the amenities, it was all good. I'd stay here again!!

Firm mattress in spacious room

We find this hotel much to our likings. The room is clean, spacious and has all the facilities. Its location is great too, in downtown Carson City. Its in walking distance to many of the city attractions. We particularly like the fact that the mattress is firm and not smashed in like we find in many other hotels.
