Nice place nea Ubud

Nice open villas with loads of space for 4 people. The people are friendly here and the breakfast is good. The pool is a good size and almost 2 meters deep at the end. This is a place to relax as there is nothing around here but rice fields which you get a good view of. Book your dinner here in advance as the chef will not hang around. Take plenty of supplies like snacks as this place is not near any shops. It is however a relaxing out of the way place to unwind from everything. A little Bahasa Indonesia goes a long way here. Insist on your free (Gratis) internet and you will be given a device to carry with you or just plug into the wall.

Worst place I have stayed in Bali. Dirty villas, dirty pools, tockay gecko in room and non English speaking staff.

We booked because price was good and reviews were ok. Be warn of the 1 people reviews. Also, don't trust a place that have several profile on sites like TA.
I am not sure I need to elaborate more on my experience. There was sign of a gecko on the floor. We asked them to clean. They only did the bedroom. We asked them to do the lounge twice. They didn't. The towels were stained and the bed sheets too. There was no hand soap in the villa. We were the only customers in the villas. They were about 5 employees but no one was helpful.
They couldn't cook an egg the Western style. The manage was out of town for a cremation so nobody spoke English. The pool was disgusting. The driver tried to rip us off charging us more than double the price to get to Ubud.
