A very unique boutique hotel in the heart of Times Square, citizen rooms are teeny; with just an extra-large king bed that touches each wall. Targeting a young, hip, kid-free crowd, some families find the uniqueness of the property too good to pass up, especially with teens who can have their own room. (Only two people are permitted in one room; this is not a property for families with young kids.) Free Wi-Fi is about the only amenity you will find here, with a communal living room on the ground floor inviting guests to mingle. A grab and go café, citizen, is open 24/7.

Perfect for a couple of night stop over on my own. Easy to get anywhere else in the city. The ambassadors were very welcoming and friendly. Loved my room, I slept so well in that giant bed. I liked the option of not having someone come in to make up the room. Would definitely stay again.

citizenM takes full advantage of digital technology and for the most part it works flawlessly. The check in, the mini-iPad controlling all of the room functions, and the check out were all handled by a swipe or a touch. Great vibe and perfect location.
