Overview

Housed in a historic building and serving Cincinnati for more than 130 years, the Cincinnatian is a member of Historic Hotels of America and caters to traveling families as soon as they step in the lobby. Children are treated to warm cookies and milk in the evening upon arrival, with all guests privy to nightly turndown service.

The hotel has 146 guestrooms with king, queen and double beds, many of which can be connected for families looking for larger accommodations, as well as seven suites, complete with a separate living room area and dining tables. The hotel’s decor and in-room amenities create a home-away-from-home atmosphere. Families can even request cribs and rollaway beds at no extra charge.

The hotel also provides airport shuttle service, as well as a complimentary taxis for jaunts around the downtown area. The Palace Restaurant is onsite and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.

Visit with my daughter at UC

Because it was homecoming at the university, all of the hotels near the campus were full, so I opted for this hotel. I couldn't have been more pleased. It is a little further than where I normally stay but worth it! I will accept the distance and stay there again in the future.

Nice classic old style hotel with modernization

Could not get into the Hilton Netherland around the corner, so I ended up here. But it was more than fine. Pretty old school hotel, but fully modernized. Good bar. Great modern room with big bathroom and closets, couch and desk. Very clean and comfortable. Also, was about $100 or more less than the Netherland. I would stay again if in Cincinnati.
