This place is stellar and in every way imaginable, from the accommodations to the bountiful breakfasts. Every detail is thoughtfully addressed. The deep peace and quiet are most appreciated. A truly special retreat.

We were looking for accommodations for a 3-day getaway in Winthrop and stumbled upon Chewuch Inn. European ambience with a northwest feel. Delicious homemade breakfast buffet with real plates/silverware, friendly staff and the owners, Dan and Sally, made every effort to make our stay comfortable. The location is great - a short walk into town along the river. We had the smallest room but it had everything we needed, additionally the breakfast room and other common areas were available during the day. The homemade scones were delicious and available also during the afternoon. We would stay again and try one of the cute cabins on the site. We were traveling as a couple, but it would be a fun place to meet up with other friends. Looking forward to staying there for the cross-country skiing. The community trail starts just across the road.
