Offering the Old-World charm of a traditional British inn, The Cheshire is a perfect hotel for families in a great locale. With roots dating back to the 1920s, The Cheshire evolved from a modest hamburger joint to a landmark restaurant and finally into a well-known St. Louis hotel. The hotel has retained much of its historic detail while adding up-to-date amenities and technology. Accommodations range from deluxe king and double queen rooms to poolside rooms, mini suites and novelty suites. All units feature flat-screen TVs, pillow-top bedding, complimentary Wi-Fi, daily tea service, bathroom amenities and vintage art and decor.

My partner and I were looking for a weekend away before the holidays and decided on St. Louis for our destination. I hit the hotel sites looking for a place to stay, and the online pictures had me sold (and I know pictures can be misleading). The hotel was nice and clean, and super comfortable. The staff was friendly and took care of all our needs. I might have to come back when the weather is warmer so I can enjoy the grounds.

We were in from Los Angeles to perform for a comedy festival and very much enjoyed our stay. Roxy at the front desk welcomed us with a great attitude and warm energy, and was super helpful getting us settled in. She’s awesome!
