For a unique stay just minutes from Silverwood, Cedar Mountain Farm B&B is about as close as you can get to the park without camping. Located on a 400-acre family tree farm, this B&B offers a real log cabin experience at very reasonable prices. The owners, Al and Daryl, will make sure you and the kids are well-fed and rested after a busy day riding roller coasters. They have three different family-friendly rooms to choose from, some featuring bunk beds or trundle beds. A fresh farm-style breakfast is included, of course, but the kitchen and outside BBQ are available if you want to prepare dinner for yourselves. The owners encourage you to roam the property, exploring the meadows and woodlands, visiting the farm animals, or checking out the numerous hiking and biking trails in the area.

We chose the Cedar Mountain Farm for it's quiet location surrounded by forest and pasture. We enjoyed all of it, including the log architecture and farm fresh home cooked food. Al and Daryl went out of their way to accommodate my special diet.
We enjoyed it so much that we are thinking to stay there again in 2020.

We stayed here because we were going to Silverwood for my son's birthday. We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before so we didn't know what to except. We had an incredible time! Al and Daryl were so great with communication. We had gotten to the Cedar Mountain Farm Bed and Breakfast a little bit early and were able to leave our luggage there until the room was available. This place is so incredibly beautiful! Al and Daryl welcome you into their home as if we had known them forever. My son had his birthday while we were there and Al and Daryl made is special and gave him a scone with birthday candles. It was great! They had their granddaughters visiting them and they showed us around the property. They even had a 4 day old baby goat which was the cutest! We got to feed the goats and sheep. They also had turkey's, chickens, and two mini horses. We had the greatest time and felt so welcome. The breakfast served was so delicious! I even got the recipe for the snicker doodle cookies. Yum yum! We will definitely be staying here again. It was fabulous!
