When we first arrived at the hotel we were reminded with the view right away that "EVERY ROOM HAS AN OCEAN VIEW!" However, upon check in we were scammed. We were told that we were "Up-graded" to a larger suite and we were excited for this at first. Then when went on our way to our larger suite to notice that the elevator didn't even go to our room as the first floor is below the ground floor or basically- UNDERGROUND. We tried to stay positive but when we entered the room, facing another wall or part of the hotel with NO VIEW OF ANYTHING. This was room 129 and it was awful. We did not have any view of anything nice. To go into further detail of what was upsetting was that we didn't ask for this poor "upgrade." We immediately called the front desk and they told us there was NOWAY we were able to move. This was ridiculous as our friends in another room were also unhappy with theirs and were given 3 options to move to. How were there 3 ocean view rooms available for them to move to but nothing available for us????
To top it off, we found out that the Front Desk Manager - Noel, was able to be bribed by our friends with $100 cash and when we spoke to him he offered nothing and told us that our unhappiness and complaint was NOT VALID????? We were completely dissatisfied with the lack or complete disservice they gave to us.
This was our FIRST TIME staying at this resort.
Another point when we spoke with NOEL- we told him about the CONSTRUCTION on the wall of our exterior of our room was being torn out and pipes replaced- hold told us we were lying. He didn't even know that our room was being worked on at 7am on a SATURDAY MORNING. Noel was the absolute worst Front Desk Manager we have ever encountered and his front desk staff follows in his shoes. They have bad attitudes are not well aware of the grounds that they provide service to their guests.
Working in the hospitality industry allows us to know that there is ALWAYS something that can be done to make your customer happy. Nothing was done for us.

I will be returning for another visit in a few weeks! This is my go-to Resort in Cabo! I have reviewed CD many times, and this time I would like to acknowledge Noel at the front desk, and Eduardo at Bell Service. Muchas Gracias Noel for caring about what area of the hotel I like to stay in (the A building that overlooks The Office and allows me to enjoy sunrises).....and Eduardo, you are as helpful, professional and kind as it gets! Did David train you? Hola David teddy bear! ...Casa Dorada Familia is the best (Ilse, Emilio, Bismarck, David, Gabiano, Lupita, Pepe, Marianne, and soooooo many more beautiful people). The location on the swimming beach, the beach club, the events, the wonderful staff make this vacation spot so perfect! See you soon, love Cabo Barbie
