My husband & I honeymooned here & I can honestly say that OUR experience from booking the room to checking out was a first class expierence!!! ALCIDES was incredibly helpful when I had to no clue as to getting from the airport to the hotel & he provided me with all of the services I needed to get to & from. He went as far as providing me with the train information & which train to take to & from to coordinate with my flights. Then he provided me with the website where I can get my tickets to get into the Inca Empire & not only did he help me with the tickets of the train & entrance but he also booked us a car service that will pick us up at the airport & take us to the train station (roundtrip). The Driver JULIAN was also amazing. He picked us up & gave us somewhat of a tour on our way to the train station through the CIty of Cusco. He gave us a brief history on the towns we drove through & also on the Incas & how they lived in these beautiful towns. Once at the train, Julian didn't just drop us off & leave, he parked & took our luggages all the way to the entrance of the train. Talk about first class service. Train ride was another superb expierence within itself.
What I found funny was that once we arrived in Aguas Calientes, there was someone from the hotel there waiting for us of course, whats funny is that they could have easily said to just cross the street but no they sent a staff member to wait for us take our luggages, & here I am thinking that we are about to jump in a car & head to the hotel, NOPE he took our luggages down the stairs across the street to our hotel CASA DEL SOL. I was like... Seriously we could have just crossed & he was like..... No we enjoy greeting our guests as our services start from the second you get of the train! I looked at my husband & was like "this is what I'm talking about". They make you feel like you are the only guest they care about! AMAZING!!!
Then we meet FERNANDO who checked us in , took our luggages & showed us to our room. Scheduled our dinner which I had know Idea that the hotel provided throughout our stay. Only because I was under the impression that it was only breakfast but I was wrong it was also dinner which by the way the food was top notch!!!! FERNANDO continued to surprise us when he gave us a gift & congratulated us on our nuptials on behalf of the Hotel! So Sweet. LOVE THE LITTLE BULLS HE GAVE US! At the end of our trip since we weren't able to stay for dinner due to our scheduled flight.... He went out of his way & provided us with lunch to go (2 thumbs up)..... JOSE LUIS who is the bar tender at the restaurant, provided us with impeccable service! HE made sure that our drinks were on point. I asked for very well done steak, in other words burnt dont like to see pink in my steak & I told him this. He went straight to the chef & made sure that my steak was very well cooked lol when he served me he asked me to please cut into the stake because he wanted to mke sure that it was the way I wanted lol & it sure was & also DELICIOUS!!!!!
THE SERVICE, THE ATTENTION, THE QUALITY & THE EXPEIRENCE WERE MORE THAN MY HUSBAND & I EXPECTED! FIRST CLASS ALL THE WAY!!!!!
My husband is not the easiest person to impress & CASA DEL SOL did not disappoint! My husband was like... where did you find this place! This place is everything! The view from our room all mountains. We were disconnected from the outside world & we were loving it! THE PERFECT HONEYMOON!!!
Thank you Alcides, Fernando, Jose Luis & ALFREDO who after our first breakfast, had our breakfast ready for us the following days because he already knew what my husband & I wanted :) 2 THUMBS UP ---- 5 STAR!!!!!
