We got the suite!

This time though Montgomery we were able to book a suite. The king bed and closet space was more than we needed. It even had a desk in the bedroom. It was like an apartment. All the kitchen items were supplied and the living area was roomy and comfortable. There were large screen TV's in both the bedroom and the living room. Great stay,

Dirty hotel and terrible customer service

This is definitely not a good hotel to stay. This place is a dump. Awful place to stay even though located in convenient area. I had to stay here couple of weeks ago because all the hotels in the city were booked and this was the closest I could get. On the plus side the staff here is friendly and nice, but that's about the only positive.

The rooms are not thoroughly cleaned. Couple of times I complained to the front desk. The second complaint, I have asked to speak to a manager. After waiting for about 5 minutes, an Indian Manager came to speak with me with a heavy accent. The manager was rude and kept interrupting me while I was trying to describe to him the nasty condition of the room. I was telling him that I normally stay at Hilton and Marriott and on few occasions I have stayed at Holiday Inn and I have never experienced such lousy conditions I have experienced at the Candle-wood. His response was you may want to stay at the Hilton then !!!

It is a shame that this hotel is part of the Holiday Inn system. I will definitely will never use this hotel and any Holiday Inn affiliate in the future.
