For backyard grill masters looking to really make themselves at home in Ann Arbor, the Candlewood has a grill on an outdoor patio and loaner grilling tools so that you can man the flame for your family after a day cheering on the Wolverines. The Candlewood’s spacious one queen bedroom suite has a sleeper sofa and a fully equipped kitchen, along with free Wi-Fi, flat screen TV, and will suit many families.

The room was nice, the kitchenette was well stocked and they had other items if you did not have it in your room. A great laundry room, necessity room, small gym all together. It was clean, and the employees friendly. A great experience

Let down in Ann Arbor

Travelled 5 hours to find out my room was given to another traveller even though I called front desk twice to confirm reservation. They switched me to another smaller room and made no attempt to inform me. (Smaller room did not have enough beds for my group.) Staff told me to take my complaint up with the manager who would not be at the hotel for another 9 hours or I could try and find another hotel on game day. Terrible attitude and service.
