This newly renovated hotel is ideal for a small family looking for an affordable extended-stay accommodation. Among the 72 spacious suites are some featuring two queen beds, a recliner chair, and a fully equipped kitchen that includes a large refrigerator, stovetop, dishwasher, microwave, sink, coffee maker, and plenty of dishes and utensils for all your cooking needs. Kids will love the heated outdoor pool and the 24-hour convenience store in the lobby. Parents will appreciate the outdoor gazebo and grill.
Candlewood Suites is located between a quiet residential neighborhood and a busy retail district, giving you easy access to a variety of shops and restaurants. Your kids will certainly notice the popular ice cream shop two blocks from the hotel. Abilene’s thriving downtown, with its fascinating museums, quirky shops, and trendy restaurants, is only 10 minutes to the north of your hotel. There, you can take a self-guided walk around the historic buildings before visiting Frontier Texas, a new museum that uses holographic technology to make history come alive. The exciting Abilene Zoo is a few miles from your hotel, as is the man-made Kirby Lake, where fishing and bird-watching are popular activities. For a clean, comfortable, extended-stay experience, Candlewood Suites might be just what you’re looking for on your big family vacation to Abilene.

We have stayed at this location before. It’s perfect, great location, clean, comfortable and a great price. The customer service was amazing! We will definitely be back here if we are on the area again.

My husband and daughter stayed there last night with our dog. They were truly delighted by the warm welcome, great price and lovely facility. Such a pleasant interlude after a long day driving. They were especially pleased by the welcome for Babe, our deaf dog.
