The Retreat has the best setting for a relaxing getaway and still only a short walk to access activities, restaurants and bars in Camps Bay. The natural pool is a treat. The spa treatments are a must! The staff are super friendly and helpful. The service we enjoyed, especially from Benson (and other staff) was first class and he is an asset to the Retreat. Some people are just cut out for the hospitality industry. We stayed in the Manor House for the first part of our stay - classic, comfortable and luxurious. The second half of our stay we spent across the bridge in the modern suite (Room 5) and we loved the seclusion amongst the trees. The odd lapses in attention to detail with some of the food/service we raised with the management, were resolved speedily and without drama. We would recommend a visit here anytime.

As always, Camps Bay Retreat have given us the Most of Amazing Experiences. This place is just Beyond Description! Stay here. But don’t share the word! The Rooms are Quite Exceptional and the Food Offerings are to die for! I really hesitate in writing this review, because I don’t want too many other people to come and experience this wonderful place!
