A friend and I arrived in Telluride for a couple of days of hiking in early October. We had a small issue with the booking that the reception solved right away and exceeded our expectations in how he handled the situation. The room was big and bright.
The staff was extremely helpful in advising us on hiking trails and where to eat and go for a couple of beers.
In the morning a delicious breakfast was served with freshly cut strawberries.
This was the best hotel we stayed at on our two week trip.
The location was fantastic - in the middle of Telluride and right next to the gondola that takes you to the other side of the mountain.,

I chose to bring my group to this hotel based on my experience here about 20 years ago. I and my people are very glad I did! I knew I was in for a great stay when my van pulled up and Doug was there waiting for me with a luggage cart ready to move us in. Autumn went above and beyond to make sure we were greeted and see us off at the end of our stay. In the meantime, the front desk personnel were always eager to be of assistance. The kind lady working the breakfast went out of her way to accommodate one of my people and she was thrilled. The hotel being next to the gondola going up to the village was great! I will come back here for sure!
