I spent the weekend in Palm Springs and chose this as my place to stay. Since I was exploring the area’s Midcentury Modern/Googie era architecture, I wanted to stay somewhere that came out of the same era but wasn’t too expensive, so this motel (opened in 1964 and embracing the Polynesian Tiki style popular at the time) came up on the list and I was very satisfied!
The pool is surprisingly large and deep with the back end going down to 8 feet (about 2.44 meters) and the jacuzzi being nice and warm, but not too hot to the point of suffocating, just very soothing and relaxing.
The room while a tad dated is clean and comfortable and I was able to get a good night’s rest in a soft bed. The shower is easy to use and gets warm quickly. I prefer shower doors over curtains but that’s neither here nor there. Never turned on the TV so I can’t comment on that. My only real issue is the inconsistent Wifi signal which can be choppy at times. Sometimes a video I watch on YouTube can run smoothly, but then it’ll start to lag and either play at lower definition or stall out.
The price was reasonable and I feel was just about right for the services provided so I can’t complain. I enjoyed my stay. :)

We stayed here for 3 nights and were really pleased we chose this spot.
The rooms are furnished traditionally, spotlessly clean and quiet.
The pool area is relaxing and there’s really good service available at reasonable prices.
Great location for Palm Springs attractions.
