Caddo cabin is on Caddo Lake in Eastern Texas. It is a wonderful get away from the bustle of the city. It is remote and that is exactly what we wanted. When I say remote, I don't mean unpopulated, just off the beaten trail. No worries, the roads are paved. Our vacation was pegged only for relaxation, no trips, no things to do, just relax. We have a campfire, cooked burgers on the grill, slept in, went to bed late, sat on the porch, and watched a little football and a movie or two. There were bicycles available and we went on a short trip to explore the area and get a soda at the local dock and restaurant. The scenery was beautiful. A golf cart is available if you can't bicycle or walk. We rode to the dock owned by the cabins and just enjoyed the scenery of the lake. We didn't go canoeing but it is free if you desire to go. The cabin was decorated nicely and very comfortable. It may well be the best stocked cabin we have ever stayed in. No complaints. We had a wonderful, relaxing time. Be sure to take your vacation attitude with you. No worries, be adaptable, be kind, and enjoy.

stayed at caddo cabin of caddo lake cabins. Just a simply great place. Caddo cabin was clean well appointed and had just everything you could possibly want. we were provided use of a golf cart, as all guests are, which was great to use to drive down to the small store and docks at Shady Glade. very beautiful area very peaceful and relaxing Patty was great host--very friendly and helpful--unfortunately never had a chance to meet her but spoke with her on the phone, would very highly recommended esspecially if seeking quiet getaway and easy access to kayak on caddo lake
