Watching the sun rise over the ocean, the comfiest pillows, and an avocado toast breakfast that tasted just like home. Cabanas La Luna was the best experience to share with my partner! From the moment we arrived the staff (shoutout to Jolyke and Dex!) made us feel comfortable and were so friendly. We walked on the beach and watched the sunset from La Lunas beach beds, and we were able to sleep to the sound of the ocean with our door open. A safe, calm, and sweet space that I cannot wait to return to.

We stayed at Cabanas La Luna 10/16-10/19/2019. First and foremost, the beach is beautiful. There was zero sargassum like there had been months prior. It was gone. It was also the rainy season. It never rained on us, we must have been lucky. The sand pathways are groomed and crystaline white sand like out of a fairy tale indeed. The grounds are very well kept and the pool is clean and fabulous. There aren't a lot of pictures of the pool, but it has a small area for little kids with stairs, a shallow area that is about 4' deep, and a deep end with loungers all around. This is the shared pool not the one in the private rental, I'm sure that one is amazing too. Next, the food. Oh, so very good they even remade my sons chicken fingers one day because the kitchen manager thought they were over cooked by looking at them. Did I mention they are the ONLY beach restaurant that we found with a true kids menu. Yep. The Paloma was the best I'd ever had, the Pina Colada's, same. The free breads at breakfast with jam were delectable and the Cafe de Ollo or Olla was so delicious. Perfect to drink while watching the sun rise on the beach. We traveled with our 2 sons, 5 and 7 years old and stayed at the Marrakesh. It was fantastic, I highly recommend this hotel for families. It's not too kid-centric but not exclusively for adults either. It's accommodating to real people, and real families. The breeze blew right through our room and although warmer than Colorado, it was very comfortable for our little family. I cannot say enough good things about the staff! They work hard, and are always there for you. The food is great and the beach speaks for itself. There's a darn good reason there are so many pics of the beach of this hotel. Go in the off season, you won't regret it. I already miss Manuel and his smile every morning. It was the best 40th birthday trip I could've planned. Thank you Cabanas La Luna!
