Stayed here for 3 nights with my daughter in June 2019. We had a beautiful room with a tiny balcony overlooking the fortress. It was very hot when we were there but the air conditioning was fantastic - probably the most effiicient I have come across. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Staff were pleasant, especially on reception. Breakfast wasn't really as I would have expected from a hotel of this rating, the croissant were very dry on the first morning, the fresh orange segments tasted distinctly "fizzy" and the staff weren't as attentive as they might have been. It was also confusing because even though juices were included in the B&B deal, they had a sign next to them for (what I think was) €5.00, all very confusing. Still great location and worth staying in for the room.

We spent three nights at the Hotel Bristol in September. It's an elegant hotel set in a perfect location in Salzburg. The rooms all have themed decorations. We stayed in the African Room. which was very comfortable. There is a wonderful lounge area where we enjoyed cocktails in a relaxed, quiet setting after dinner. The beautiful Mirabelle Gardens are in the back of the hotel, and Old Town is only a short walk away. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of food choices and we were served by a friendly, efficient staff.
