The BRB Crystal River Resort is at the base of Mount Sopris and just minutes from Aspen, Glenwood Springs and Carbondale, Colorado. The cabins, RV and tent sites lie adjacent to the clear waters of the famous Crystal River. This is a year-round operation and the cabins are available for rental all year while the 24-space RV Park is seasonal and has all new 50, 30, 20 amp and water services. There are 13 rustic log cabins that all have full baths and equipped kitchens and linens, fire pits, outdoor furnishings and charcoal grills. Families will be appreciated of the larger cabins that have two separate bedrooms with accommodations to sleep up to eight people.
Families will find plenty of old fashioned entertainment right on site. There is a clubhouse with lounge, TV, pool table, board games and lending library. There is a heated, outdoor swimming pool with new TREX sun deck, new playground, horseshoe pits, volleyball and basketball courts and dog park. New additions and renovations also include a new laundry and a brand new bathhouse facility. There is a small grocery, with ice and firewood on site.

Car trouble made me change plans and stay at the Crystal River KOA for 5 days. What a fabulous find! I used them as a base camp to see the fall colors, visit hot springs and see old friends. I am already planning another fall visit...it was that nice!

This is such a pretty KOA to stay in. We also had a great concrete patio. We loved being near the river and even though you are right by the highway, it was never a nuisance. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice large dog park. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is the cell phone reception. I realize that is not due to the park, but that is a reason we will reconsider next time if we stay here or not since both my husband and I have elderly parents at home.
