We travel to Barbados several times each year. This year will mark our 34th.year & enjoy our time at the Bougainvillea Resort. The facility is clean, the gardens are lush & well maintained. But best of all the employees are great. the staff is well trained and works hard to make sure that get the most from your visit. In addition, we should mention that the cab drivers serving the resort are great with a special note for Trevor Clarke who we use twice each day & never misses a beat.

They do not advertise this but all guests receive a 10 minute complimentary massage which is good enough to make you want to book the full treatment. Don’t know why concierges don’t mention this. Anyway great location and lovely beach. Staff excellent especially Sonia in the pool bar. Always smiling and always in control! We booked a BA package on room only as there are cooking facilities for making a decent breakfast in the room: ours had a balcony and overlooked the pool area. A ground floor might have been better but you lose room space for your terrace. Your call. You can easily walk along the beach to the Gap with shops/bars/restaurants and. If in he mood to Oistins for the fish fry but a 3.50 Barbados dollar ZR ride might br better.
Food OK burgers great but we are out mostly. Would like to have tried Siam fully but just had some light bites there which were very good.
Al in all would stay again.
