Halloween/Salem Family Trip

Not a bad hotel, but my overall experience could’ve been better.

Pros
- Quiet area
- Comfy bed
- Helpful staff
- Pool, gym etc

Cons
- Not well located
- Dated bathrooms
- Smallish rooms
- No porter service
- Awful views

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. It’s close to Salem, Boston and the Northshore mall - but there are options to be closer to each of them. It’s a $10 Uber to the mall and $15-20 to Salem.

I booked this well in advance knowing I was going at a peak time (weekend before Halloween), but I got slugged with a much higher rate than I could’ve got a week or even a day before arrival. They sure saw me coming! So I do feel they took advantage of my early booking

Nice place to stay

Concerie’s were wonderful. Rooms were clean. I did not eat there as we had our class reunion and only stayed overnight but the menu and options looked good.
The wait staff for our get together were friendly and helpful.
